Customer Service Fail -- well, at-least they pretended to care

Dear Wesley Young:

Thank you for contacting HSBC Bank USA, N.A., the world's local bank.

We are sorry to hear that you've received service that has been less than satisfactory.

We appreciate your feedback regarding our eStatement service. Your suggestion has been forwarded to our Web Development Team for review and consideration as a future enhancement to our website.

At this time, the option to access the statements for a closed account via the Personal Internet Banking service is unavailable. However, we have processed your statement copy request for your Closed Checking account from September 16, 2010 till December 3, 2010. This request has
been processed for free. You will receive these statements within seven to ten business days at the address on file. We hope, this gesture of ours indicates that we value your relationship with HSBC and wish to continue serving your banking needs.

Please be advised, HSBC is committed to finding ways of reducing its impact on the environment through saving paper and the energy used to produce, transport and dispose of it. Going Green means you can do all your day-to-day banking as normal and we will avoid using unnecessary paper wherever we can. HSBC's eStatement service is an initiative of Going Green not a compulsion for our customers.

I guess this means we can still be friends HSBC. gfg to you sir, ... gfg to you.
