My Last (CIT) rant

So, as some of you may have heard... I've accepted a position within the security intel community, Friday 3/12 will be my last day... My focus will involve developing tools and building relationships between higher-ed and the rest of the world facilitating the bidirectional flow of security intelligence.

Throughout the years you've-all put up with my strong opinions, decisive actions and long-ass-winded-rants... (and sometimes, my bullsh#$ :)). I wanted each of you to know that every epic-journey we've been through has made me that much stronger, not only as a professional security analyst, but also as a person. For that, no matter how much we've been at each-others throats, I appreciate every moment of it, thank-you.

This sorta feels like i'm breaking up with you all over a post-it-note. So in true wes-form here are some of my best:

"I feel like this break up has made our relationship so much stronger."

"I can't be with you because you are graduating and I never went to college."

"I want someone who can buy me a new car."

"Sorry I stopped contacting you. I had to go back to rehab”

"I don't want you to feel like I'm breaking up with you. I just can't be in a relationship with you anymore."

"Really, it's not you, I'm just going through a selfish phase..." [i've used this one before, got punched for it]

"This just isn't for me. Nothing personal. I want to be able to tell people I work from home."


And if it wasn't for Tom & Jess's cook'n, I'd probably be lying dead in a ditch somewhere from starvation.

If I were to leave you with one piece of advice, eat lunch together. Every chance you get... You'll get more done and make more friends (thanks lunch peeps :)).
